Lead a team of engineers to design, implement, and maintain data security controls on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and secure integration with cloud services and enterprise applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and enforce data security policies and controls within the ServiceNow platform, aligning with enterprise risk and compliance frameworks.
- Lead a team of security engineers to develop, test, and deploy secure ServiceNow applications, custom scripts, and integrations.
- Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure end‑to‑end security for data flows between ServiceNow and AWS/Azure services.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and remediation activities for ServiceNow instances.
- Define and maintain ITIL‑based processes for incident response, change management, and continuous improvement of security posture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience securing enterprise platforms, with at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow security engineering.
- Strong knowledge of data protection standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001) and cloud security best practices.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), REST/SOAP APIs, and automation tools.
- ITIL certification or proven experience implementing ITIL processes in a security context.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
