Software Engineer
Lead the design, governance, and evolution of an enterprise ServiceNow platform, defining architecture standards, ensuring secure, scalable implementations, and mentoring engineering teams to maximize platform value.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall ServiceNow platform strategy, architecture, and governance framework across the enterprise.
- Design scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and data models.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align platform capabilities with strategic objectives and maximize ROI.
- Establish best practices, standards, and reference architectures for development, testing, and deployment.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure compliance with ITIL and security policies.
- Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity, recommending optimizations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and implementing large‑scale ServiceNow solutions.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, scripting (JavaScript), REST/SOAP APIs, and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), and security best practices.
- Proven ability to create architectural documentation, governance models, and technical standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring cross‑functional development teams.
