Software Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow IT Asset Management solutions, driving asset lifecycle automation, data integrity, and reporting across the enterprise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow IT Asset Management modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and ITSM best practices.
- Configure and extend the CMDB, create custom tables, fields, and relationships to support accurate asset tracking.
- Develop and maintain JavaScript, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub scripts to automate asset discovery, provisioning, and decommissioning.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and deliver functional specifications.
- Implement data quality controls, reporting dashboards, and SLA monitoring to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of IT Asset Management processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow IT Asset Management and ITSM modules.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Experience with asset discovery tools and integration with external systems (e.g., SCCM, SCCM, BMC).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
