Senior ServiceNow Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions, automating IT service processes, and integrating with enterprise systems using Python and PowerShell scripts.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow applications and customizations to support enterprise IT services.
- Implement ITIL best practices, including incident, problem, change, and request management workflows.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes using Python and PowerShell scripts, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems (HR, finance, security) via REST/ SOAP APIs and middleware.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, conduct testing, and provide post‑deployment support.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture.
- Hands‑on scripting skills in Python and PowerShell for automation and integration.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience with database concepts and SQL for data management within ServiceNow.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
