Senior ServiceNow Developer focused on CMDB architecture, data integrity, and integration. Leverage ITSM, REST/SOAP, Discovery, and Service Mapping to build robust CMDB solutions and dashboards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB components, including CI classes, relationships, and attributes.
- Implement Business Rules, Script Includes, and UI Policies to enforce data quality and workflow automation.
- Integrate external data sources via REST and SOAP, manage Import Sets and Transform Maps for accurate CMDB population.
- Support Discovery and Service Mapping initiatives, ensuring accurate asset discovery and service mapping.
- Develop data validation, reconciliation logic, and troubleshoot data inconsistency or relationship errors.
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards, and participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience with a strong focus on CMDB.
- Proficient in scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript) and ServiceNow platform modules.
- Hands‑on experience with REST/SOAP integrations, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
- Knowledge of Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITSM best practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
