Software Engineer
Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications for NSW Health, creating secure, scalable digital solutions that empower clinicians, patients and staff. Leverage JavaScript, HTML/CSS and REST APIs within an Agile, ITIL‑aligned environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy ServiceNow applications and customizations to meet clinical and administrative needs.
- Write clean, maintainable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code, integrating with REST APIs and external services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile practices to deliver incremental value.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing and performance tuning to ensure high quality and security.
- Document solutions and provide user support during go‑live and post‑implementation phases.
Requirements
- Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, including scripting and UI customization.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS and RESTful integration.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering secure, patient‑centric solutions.
