Senior ServiceNow Administrator responsible for configuring core ITSM modules, managing access controls, optimizing platform performance, and developing reports to support business operations across the UK & Ireland.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and configure core ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) to meet business requirements.
- Manage user roles, groups, and access controls, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Maintain platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches/upgrades to keep the system stable.
- Design and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, and catalog items to streamline processes.
- Assist in CMDB population and maintenance, ensuring accurate asset and configuration data.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and scheduled data exports to support KPIs and decision‑making.
- Collaborate with architects and consultancy partners on platform enhancements and best practices.
- Document configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge transfer and audit readiness.
- Provide end‑user support and training to maximize platform adoption.
Requirements
- Proven experience administering ServiceNow in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM processes and ServiceNow modules.
- Experience with JavaScript, scripting, and report creation.
- Familiarity with CMDB concepts and data management.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
