Service Development Manager - AI Data Assurance & Validation - RELX Group

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑based data validation pipelines that support the platform’s data mesh architecture.
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform services teams to integrate quality checks into the data ingestion and processing workflows.
• Manage relationships with external suppliers, defining data quality standards and monitoring compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement of data governance policies and tooling across the research data ecosystem.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives to align data quality metrics with business outcomes for products such as Scopus, LeapSpace, SciVal, and Reaxys.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or platform services within a large, data‑centric organization.
• Proven track record of building AI or machine‑learning solutions for data quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of data mesh principles and data governance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and supplier relationship skills.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
