Data Analyst
Data‑driven analyst role combining financial service‑charge analysis with on‑site property inspections, using SQL, Excel and Tableau to validate and visualise housing data across a national portfolio.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean and analyse service‑charge data from multiple housing schemes to identify trends, anomalies and cost‑saving opportunities.
- Conduct on‑site visits to verify data accuracy, reconcile physical observations with system records, and document findings.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Excel for senior management and stakeholders.
- Write clear, data‑driven narratives that explain financial performance and support decision‑making.
- Collaborate with property managers, finance teams and external contractors to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within housing, property or finance environments.
- Strong SQL querying skills and advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, macros).
- Experience building visualisations and dashboards using Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Willingness to travel nationally for site inspections and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.
