Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of system architecture and design for complex defense platforms, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and technical standards.
- Define and manage system requirements, traceability, and validation plans across the full product lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams for integration, testing, and verification, driving risk mitigation and quality assurance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate operational needs into robust technical solutions and maintain compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in systems engineering, architecture design, and integration testing for defense or aerospace systems.
- Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on schedule.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- U.S. Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO/IEC 15288, MIL‑STD‑498, and DoD acquisition processes.
