Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of secure, high‑availability cyber systems for mission‑critical programs.
- Develop and integrate automated security testing and monitoring solutions using Python and Linux tooling.
- Define and enforce security policies, risk assessments, and compliance frameworks across cloud and on‑premise environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure system resilience, performance, and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction on cybersecurity best practices and system engineering processes.
Requirements
- Secret clearance (or ability to obtain) and eligibility for travel up to 10% of the time.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity and systems engineering, with a focus on cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in Python scripting and Linux/Unix operating systems for automation and security tooling.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, threat modeling, and implementation of security controls.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to drive technical decisions and mentor teams.
