Lead verification and validation of next‑generation vehicle sensor systems—lidar, camera, and radar—collaborating with systems and software engineers to ensure performance, safety, and compliance across automotive platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document V&V test plans for lidar, camera, and radar sensor subsystems.
- Analyze test data, identify root causes, and recommend design improvements.
- Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware teams to integrate sensor data into vehicle platforms.
- Develop automated test scripts and tools to streamline validation workflows.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to cross‑functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sensor system validation within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency with lidar, camera, and radar technologies and associated signal processing.
- Strong knowledge of V&V methodologies, test equipment, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with embedded software and automotive safety standards is a plus.
