About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to evaluate the performance of advanced materials and components in high‑performance environments.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated simulation models using MATLAB and Python to predict material behavior and system integration.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate experimental findings into system design and validation processes.
- Document and present results to stakeholders, translating technical data into actionable insights for program decisions.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of R&D experience.
- Proven expertise in component and material evaluation, including fatigue, corrosion, and thermal analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python and MATLAB, with experience in data visualization and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD tools for modeling and design verification.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross‑functional projects.
