Senior/Mid-Level Database Administrator responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise database systems across SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage database solutions on SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL environments.
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning to meet SLAs.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies, including replication and high‑availability configurations.
- Automate routine tasks and maintenance using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
- Ensure database security, compliance, and audit readiness through role‑based access control and encryption.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployments and migrations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of database administration experience in enterprise environments.
- Proficient with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL administration.
- Strong knowledge of backup/restore, replication, clustering, and performance tuning.
- Experience with automation scripts and monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
