Frontend Developer
Senior Web Developer responsible for building consumer‑facing payment pages, merchant APIs, and internal tools, leveraging JavaScript, React, and Node.js while collaborating with fintech clients to integrate Global Payments services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web‑based payment applications, including consumer checkout pages and merchant‑facing APIs.
- Build internal support tools that improve operational efficiency for the payments team.
- Collaborate with client engineering teams to integrate their systems with Global Payments services, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting.
- Implement RESTful services and ensure secure, high‑performance communication between front‑end and back‑end components.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and continuously improve development processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional web development experience with strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
- Hands‑on experience building and consuming REST APIs in a payments or fintech environment.
- Solid understanding of web security standards, PCI compliance, and payment processing flows.
- Experience working in Agile teams and using version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
