About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Shopify storefronts using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to deliver fast, responsive, and conversion‑focused experiences.
- Implement A/B tests, data‑driven CRO strategies, and performance optimizations that increase checkout rates and average order value.
- Collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams to translate UI/UX concepts into clean, reusable code while ensuring brand consistency.
- Integrate third‑party apps, APIs, and custom Shopify apps to extend platform functionality and support business growth.
- Maintain version control, code reviews, and deployment pipelines using Git and CI/CD best practices.
- Monitor site analytics, troubleshoot issues, and continuously iterate based on user behavior and KPI insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional web development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Shopify and Liquid templating.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in conversion‑rate optimization, A/B testing, and data‑driven decision making.
- Experience integrating Shopify with external services (e.g., payment gateways, fulfillment APIs) and building custom apps.
- Solid understanding of Git workflows, code review processes, and modern deployment pipelines.
