Frontend Developer
Lead the design, build, and maintenance of custom Shopify storefronts and integrations, ensuring seamless e‑commerce operations while proactively improving web performance and developer workflows.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify pages, product listings, and store features using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Configure and troubleshoot DNS records, SSL certificates, and domain routing to keep the web ecosystem stable.
- Integrate third‑party services such as ShipStation, payment gateways, and analytics tools via APIs and webhooks.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, refactor legacy code, and implement best practices for speed, accessibility, and SEO.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full‑stack web development experience, with a strong focus on e‑commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in Shopify, Liquid templating, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive front‑end development.
- Hands‑on experience with DNS management, SSL, and web hosting environments.
- Experience integrating APIs (e.g., ShipStation, payment processors) and handling data synchronization.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑moving team.
