Systems Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical water systems in a high‑volume medical device manufacturing environment, ensuring reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance using advanced instrumentation, PLC/SCADA control, and HVAC integration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and troubleshoot water treatment and distribution systems for large‑scale manufacturing facilities.
- Develop and maintain instrumentation and control strategies using PLC and SCADA platforms to ensure real‑time monitoring and automated process control.
- Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for system failures, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulatory standards through rigorous documentation and audit support.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships for system upgrades and expansions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- 10+ years of experience in water system design and operation within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and instrumentation calibration.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC integration and process control principles.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills.
