About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute verification test plans for hardware, firmware, and integrated system components of a neuromonitoring device.
- Develop automated test scripts and frameworks using Python to improve test efficiency and repeatability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (design, software, quality) to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Document test results, generate evidence for regulatory submissions, and maintain design history files.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues, ensuring compliance with medical device standards (e.g., IEC 60601, ISO 13485).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of verification/validation experience in medical devices.
- Proficiency in Python and test automation tools for hardware and embedded systems.
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, including FDA, IEC 60601, and ISO 13485.
- Hands‑on experience with embedded hardware, firmware debugging, and signal acquisition systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
