Implementation Engineer
Lead the integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems for aerial work platforms and other heavy equipment, driving design validation, system testing, and cross‑functional collaboration using advanced CAD and powertrain expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end integration of vehicle subsystems (chassis, powertrain, hydraulics, electronics) for new and updated product lines.
- Develop and validate detailed CAD models and 3D assemblies using CATIA or Creo, ensuring compliance with performance and safety standards.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including design, manufacturing, and testing—to resolve integration issues and optimize system architecture.
- Define and execute integration test plans, analyze results, and implement corrective actions to meet reliability and durability targets.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering best practices in systems engineering and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle integration or heavy‑equipment development, with proven success in bringing complex systems to production.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA, Creo) and strong understanding of powertrain, hydraulic, and control system interfaces.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary projects, manage technical risk, and deliver results on schedule.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
