About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze thermal test campaigns for vehicle components, ensuring compliance with performance and safety standards.
- Develop and validate Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models, integrating MATLAB and Python scripts for simulation automation and data processing.
- Interpret test data, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations to cross‑functional engineering teams.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to optimize thermal performance and reliability.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment, ensuring accurate and repeatable measurements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in thermal testing and simulation within the automotive or aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) and scripting with MATLAB or Python.
- Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross‑disciplinary teamwork.
