Software Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end testing for Android and iOS, designing test plans, automating with Appium, mentoring juniors, and driving QA best practices to ensure high‑quality mobile products.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans for complex Android and iOS features, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Appium and related frameworks to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance on test strategy, execution, and defect management.
- Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote continuous improvement.
- Advocate for QA best practices, conduct root‑cause analysis, and recommend process enhancements to elevate product quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of mobile testing experience with deep knowledge of Android and iOS platforms.
- Proficiency in Appium, Selenium, or equivalent automation tools and scripting languages (Java, Kotlin, Swift).
- Strong understanding of test design, test case management, and defect tracking tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor and influence cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and performance testing is a plus.
