Senior Test Lead - Silicon Platform Validation - HCLTech

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop detailed test plans defining scope, objectives, and success criteria for silicon platform validation.
• Lead end‑to‑end test execution, including functional, performance, and reliability testing, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks to accelerate validation cycles and improve defect detection.
• Mentor and coach junior test engineers, fostering skill development and best practices in testing methodologies.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions to enhance product quality and reliability.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and metrics to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in silicon platform or hardware validation testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test management, and defect tracking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a testing team.
