About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for lunar vehicle subsystems, including propulsion, navigation, and power.
- Design and implement automated test rigs and hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) setups using Python, C++, and MATLAB.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to identify test requirements and troubleshoot failures.
- Analyze test data, generate performance reports, and recommend design improvements to meet mission objectives.
- Maintain and calibrate specialized test facilities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or related field with 5+ years of test engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and MATLAB for test scripting and data analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with test automation, HIL systems, and embedded hardware platforms.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills for documenting test procedures and presenting results to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
