Senior Test Engineer leading test strategy and execution for Air Force C3C/Kessel Run systems, driving automated test frameworks, security validation, and continuous integration to ensure resilient command and control software.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for mission‑critical C3C software using Python and C++.
- Lead test planning, execution, and defect management for high‑integrity systems in a secure environment.
- Collaborate with development, integration, and security teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to accelerate test delivery and ensure rapid feedback.
- Conduct security and compliance testing, ensuring adherence to DoD and Air Force standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of test engineering experience in defense or aerospace environments.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and test automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with security testing and DoD compliance (e.g., DFARS, NIST).
- Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
