QA Engineer
Lead the design and execution of automated test frameworks for silicon photonics quantum computing systems, driving quality and reliability across the product lifecycle using Python, Selenium, Java, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end automated test suites for photonics‑based quantum hardware and software components.
- Integrate test automation into continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, ensuring rapid feedback for development teams.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to define test requirements and validate system performance.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in test automation, code quality, and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation for complex engineering products.
- Proficiency in Python and Java, with strong Selenium or equivalent framework expertise.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, test design, and defect management.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary environment.
