Implementation Engineer
Lead testing and integration of underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, and subsea telemetry, driving validation from prototype to full‑scale deployment using Python, C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW and test automation tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans for undersea vehicle systems, maritime sensors, and ISR solutions.
- Integrate hardware and software components, ensuring seamless communication across subsea telemetry links.
- Develop automated test frameworks and scripts using Python, C++, MATLAB, and LabVIEW to improve test efficiency and repeatability.
- Maintain requirements traceability and configuration management in IBM DOORS, linking test results to system specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to troubleshoot failures, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; 7+ years of experience in test and integration of complex systems.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, MATLAB, and LabVIEW for test development and data analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS and version control systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in cross‑functional teams, and clear communication of technical findings.
