Senior Technical Support Engineer responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues for enterprise customers, leveraging Python scripting, Linux administration, and VoIP/SIP expertise to ensure high availability and customer satisfaction.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tier‑3 support for Avaya Infinity platform, troubleshooting complex network, VoIP, and application issues.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate diagnostics, log collection, and performance monitoring.
- Analyze and resolve incidents involving Linux servers, TCP/IP, and SIP protocols, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
- Document solutions, update knowledge base, and mentor junior support staff.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical support or engineering experience in enterprise communications.
- Strong proficiency in Linux administration, networking, and VoIP/SIP protocols.
- Experience scripting with Python for automation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast‑moving, cross‑functional environment.
