About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses for large-scale healthcare datasets.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, and AWS services (Glue, S3, Redshift).
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to model data, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and cost management across Snowflake environments.
- Document architecture, data flows, and best practices for cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Snowflake.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, and AWS data services.
- Strong background in data modeling, ETL design, and performance tuning.
- Experience in healthcare or life‑sciences data environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
