Zayo isseekinga highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to drive the strategic direction and development of our technology solutions for NetworkService Delivery.
This role will be pivotal in shaping the future function of our systems. Overall software/systems functionality includethose used in Service Delivery Project Management, Inside Plant Management, Critical Infrastructure, and Outside Plant Management.
The tool stack includes SiteTracker , ServiceNow, Salesforce, in-house applications for producingcustomer facing deliverables, open-source software , and other enterprise applications .
You willbe responsible forthe overall architectural designand user experienceof these systems, ensuring they are integrated, scalable, andoptimizedto support ourservice delivery operations and enhance customer experiences.
The ideal candidatepossessesa strong software engineering background, a proventrack recordof managing complex technical products, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision: Work with the Product Manager to define and communicate the long-term product vision and strategy forService Deliverytechnology, aligning with overall business goals and keeping a keen eye on how AIand automation can generate outsized efficiencies.
System Architecture: Drive the overall architectural design of systems, including Sitetracker,ServiceNow, Salesforce, homegrown tools, and documentation platforms leading with integration. Ensurelong termscalability, security, and performance of architecture and integrations.
Technical Requirements: Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and specifications, including data models, workflows, integrations, and user interfaces. Diving into code and APIs as needed to deeply understand problems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful product development, delivery, and launch.
Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage third-party vendors and technology solutions for novel solutions to improve performance and cost.
Release Planning: Work with software engineering to oversee product releases,ensuringsmooth deployments, minimal disruption to operations, and effective communication to stakeholders.
