Software Engineer
Lead the creation and technical refinement of 3D assets, ensuring seamless integration into the game engine with advanced rigging, animation, and performance optimization using Unity or Unreal and C# scripting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, model, and rig high‑quality 3D assets for gameplay and cinematic sequences.
- Implement and maintain technical art pipelines, ensuring efficient asset workflows from concept to production.
- Collaborate with artists and programmers to integrate assets into Unity/Unreal, optimizing for performance and visual fidelity.
- Develop and maintain reusable tools and scripts (C#) to streamline production and automate repetitive tasks.
- Conduct performance profiling and implement solutions to meet frame‑rate targets on target platforms.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior technical artists and designers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical art or technical design within the gaming industry.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, rigging, and animation using industry‑standard tools (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).
- Strong scripting skills in C# and experience with Unity or Unreal Engine pipelines.
- Deep understanding of real‑time rendering, shader development, and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
