Lead the design, creation, and maintenance of bilingual (German/English) product documentation for Secusmart, ensuring accuracy, usability, and compliance with security and regulatory standards using DITA, XML, and modern content tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end documentation lifecycle for all Secusmart products, delivering clear, user‑focused content in German and English.
- Design and maintain information architecture using DITA, XML, and Markdown to support modular, reusable content across multiple delivery channels.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to gather technical details, verify accuracy, and incorporate compliance requirements.
- Implement and manage a Content Management System (CMS) workflow that streamlines authoring, review, translation, and publishing processes.
- Develop and maintain API reference guides, integration manuals, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring they meet industry security standards.
- Mentor junior writers and establish best‑practice guidelines for technical content creation and localization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing or content architecture for security‑focused or enterprise software products.
- Proficiency with DITA, XML, Markdown, and modern CMS platforms (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, regulatory compliance, and the ability to translate complex technical material into user‑friendly documentation.
- Fluent in both German and English, with proven experience in bilingual content creation and localization workflows.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentorship skills, with a track record of driving documentation quality improvements.
