Software Engineer
Lead the design, creation, and maintenance of customer‑facing documentation for Secusmart products in English and German, ensuring accuracy, security compliance, and a seamless user experience across multiple platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end documentation lifecycle for Secusmart hardware and software, from planning and authoring to publishing and continuous improvement.
- Develop and enforce documentation standards, style guides, and taxonomy using XML/DITA and Markdown to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, security experts, and UX designers in Agile sprints to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into clear, user‑centric content.
- Manage multilingual content delivery, coordinating translation workflows for German and English markets while maintaining version control.
- Implement and optimize a Content Management System (CMS) to streamline authoring, review, and release processes.
- Monitor usage metrics and customer feedback to iteratively enhance documentation quality and usability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing or content architecture for security‑focused or enterprise hardware/software products.
- Proficiency with XML/DITA, Markdown, and modern CMS platforms; strong understanding of documentation tooling and publishing pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering and security teams.
- Fluent in English and German, with experience managing localized documentation projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR) and security best practices is highly desirable.
