Senior Technical Architect leading design and delivery of scalable, cloud‑native platforms and client‑facing applications using Java, microservices, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise‑grade, cloud‑native solutions that support high‑volume, client‑facing applications.
- Lead the implementation of microservice architectures, containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) across multiple product lines.
- Define technical standards, best practices, and governance for API design (REST) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Mentor senior engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and drive continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java and building microservice‑based systems.
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and operating solutions on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Hands‑on knowledge of container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) and API design standards (REST, OpenAPI).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to influence technical direction, and strong communication with cross‑functional teams.
