Senior Technical Architect - Analog/Mixed Signal Verification and Design - HCLTech
Solutions Architect
Lead end‑to‑end analog and mixed‑signal IP development, covering architecture, circuit design, verification, and silicon validation for high‑performance SoC/ASIC projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define architecture and drive full‑cycle development of analog and mixed‑signal IP blocks, including amplifiers, bandgap references, PLL/DLLs, LDOs, DC‑DC converters, ADCs/DACs, and comparators.
- Perform schematic capture, layout, and post‑layout verification to meet performance, power, and area targets.
- Develop and execute verification plans, create testbenches, and run simulations across multiple process corners.
- Collaborate with digital design, physical design, and verification teams to integrate analog blocks into complex SoC/ASIC platforms.
- Lead silicon bring‑up, characterize silicon, debug issues, and ensure design meets specification and reliability requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of analog/mixed‑signal VLSI design experience with a proven track record of delivering silicon.
- Deep expertise in OTA/Op‑Amp design, bandgap and bias circuits, PLL/DLL, LDO, buck/boost converters, and data converters.
- Strong knowledge of CMOS processes, layout techniques, and design‑for‑test methodologies.
- Proficiency with industry tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Mentor Graphics, and verification environments (e.g., SystemVerilog/UVM).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced development environment.
