Senior Technical Animator
As a Senior Technical Animator, you will define and maintain efficient character animation pipelines and workflows, primarily in Unreal Engine 5. You will develop animation tools, rigs, and systems, troubleshoot complex technical animation issues, and collaborate on animation system design. This role requires expertise in Unreal Engine 5, Maya, and scripting with Python or C++.

What You'll Do
- Work closely with animators, artists, and engineers to define, create, and maintain efficient character animation pipelines and workflows
- Develop and maintain animation tools, rigs, and systems in Unreal Engine 5
- Troubleshoot and solve complex technical animation issues
- Collaborate on animation system design and implementation
- Mentor and guide junior technical animators
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Animator in the game industry
- Strong understanding of Unreal Engine 5 animation systems and tools
- Proficiency in Maya and other 3D animation software
- Experience with character animation, rigging, and skinning
- Solid scripting skills in Python, C++, MEL, or visual scripting (e.g., Blueprint)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for games and a deep understanding of animation principles
- This role is open to various locations across the US, including Bellevue, WA, and Orlando, FL.
