Lead the administration of global Teamcenter PLM environments, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability while managing a team of administrators and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of Teamcenter environments across production and non‑production systems.
- Lead a team of administrators, providing mentorship, task prioritization, and performance reviews.
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and capacity planning to guarantee high availability and scalability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for routine tasks, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business units to integrate PLM processes and resolve technical issues.
- Implement security policies, patch management, and compliance standards for both Windows and Linux platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience administering Siemens Teamcenter in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems, networking, and database administration (SQL Server or Oracle).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python for automation and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing a team of system administrators.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional global teams.
