About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network cabling installation engineers across multiple sites.
- Plan, design, and execute cabling projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (network, security, facilities) to integrate cabling solutions into larger infrastructure projects.
- Oversee quality assurance, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, tracking progress and delivering on time and within scope.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network cabling installation and maintenance, preferably in data center environments.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of cabling standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC), fiber optics, and structured cabling systems.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Hands‑on experience with cable testing equipment and documentation tools.
