About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional data engineering team, driving delivery of robust, scalable data pipelines.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Airflow, ensuring data quality and performance.
- Implement and optimize data storage solutions in Cosmos DB, aligning with business and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate predictive models into production data flows.
- Champion best practices in data governance, security, and documentation across the data platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of leading technical teams.
- Deep expertise in SQL, Airflow, and Cosmos DB (or equivalent NoSQL solutions).
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and how to operationalize models in production.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Experience in a large enterprise environment and familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
