About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, documentation, and coordination of HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems using Revit and BIM workflows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop energy‑modeling studies and sustainability strategies that meet LEED and local code requirements.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct field inspections, resolve design‑related issues, and support commissioning and hand‑off to operations teams.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in building technology systems design for commercial or institutional projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, and energy‑analysis tools (e.g., IES, eQUEST).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems, with experience in commissioning and performance testing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certification (e.g., LEED AP, PE, or equivalent) is a plus.
