Software Engineer
Senior engineer responsible for delivering preventive maintenance, software and hardware upgrades, and technical risk analysis for customer control systems, while managing contracts and providing on‑site support.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance visits, document findings, and deliver detailed service reports.
- Update customer control systems with the latest software releases, quick fixes, and hardware revisions.
- Develop and present upgrade plans, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with customer objectives.
- Review technical orders and proposals, providing accurate assessments and recommendations.
- Analyze technical risks associated with system expansions and upgrades, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Participate in ongoing technical training covering systems, instrumentation, process control, and communications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation or control systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and related hardware/software platforms.
- Proven ability to plan and execute preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
- Excellent analytical skills for risk assessment and technical review.
- Effective communication and customer‑facing skills, with a focus on delivering high‑quality service.
