Software Engineer
Lead technical design and delivery of Process Automation projects across renewable, oil & gas, chemical, power and water sectors, acting as the DCS authority and ensuring high‑quality engineering solutions and customer satisfaction.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead and design authority for Distributed Control System (DCS) projects in multiple industries.
- Develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, and schematics for PLC, HMI/SCADA, and process control solutions.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage project schedules, and ensure deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical recommendations, risk assessments, and value‑added solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support commissioning, start‑up, and handover activities, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field) with 8+ years of experience in process automation.
- Proven expertise in DCS platforms, PLC programming, and HMI/SCADA integration.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience delivering projects in renewable energy, oil & gas, chemical, power generation, or water treatment sectors.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams.
