Devops Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable platform services across cloud and on‑prem environments, driving automation, reliability, and performance for mission‑critical defense systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available platform services on Linux and Kubernetes clusters, ensuring compliance with defense security standards.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Terraform to accelerate delivery of new features and updates.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring with Python, Ansible, and Prometheus/Grafana.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term solutions.
- Document platform architecture, operational procedures, and best practices for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems platform engineering, with a strong focus on cloud and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Linux administration, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Hands‑on scripting in Python and automation with Ansible or similar tools.
- Experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM) and security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a highly collaborative, mission‑critical environment.
