Lead integration and test of complex electro‑mechanical defense systems, defining requirements, creating test plans, and validating power‑efficient solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end‑to‑end integration of electro‑mechanical defense subsystems, ensuring compliance with architecture and performance targets.
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures across hardware, software, and power‑management domains.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and refine system requirements at all levels, translating them into verifiable test cases.
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot integration issues, and implement corrective actions to meet schedule and quality goals.
- Maintain configuration control and traceability of requirements, test artifacts, and hardware/software baselines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; 7+ years of experience in systems integration and test for defense or aerospace applications.
- Proven expertise in electro‑mechanical system design, power‑management techniques, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
- Strong knowledge of requirements engineering processes (e.g., MIL‑STD‑498, DO‑254) and ability to produce clear, traceable documentation.
- Hands‑on experience with test automation tools, data acquisition systems, and scripting languages for test execution and analysis.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills in a fast‑paced, high‑security environment.
