Senior Systems Integration Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust integration solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments, leveraging AWS, Docker, and Python to deliver scalable, automated workflows.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop integration architectures that connect disparate systems, services, and data sources using RESTful APIs, message queues, and event‑driven patterns.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support continuous delivery of integration services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance and reliability of integration flows.
- Document integration designs, data mappings, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead technical reviews, code quality assessments, and mentor junior engineers on best practices for integration and automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems integration, with a strong focus on cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker).
- Proficiency in Python and experience building scalable, maintainable integration services.
- Hands‑on experience with API design, message queuing (e.g., RabbitMQ, SQS), and event‑driven architectures.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and automated testing.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
