About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage large‑scale fiber network infrastructure across multiple regions.
- Configure and maintain Linux‑based servers, routers, and switches to support high‑throughput services.
- Automate deployment and configuration tasks using Ansible, scripting in Python, and other IaC tools.
- Integrate AWS services for monitoring, scaling, and disaster recovery of network operations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize network reliability.
- Document architecture, procedures, and best practices for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems/network engineering for telecom or ISP environments.
- Proficient with Linux administration, networking protocols, and fiber optic technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, CloudWatch) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong scripting skills in Python and shell.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
