Senior Systems Engineer responsible for defining requirements, interfaces, and performance targets for wireless‑charging features across vehicle infotainment and compute platforms, collaborating with software, UX, validation, and cross‑functional teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and document system and solution requirements, interfaces, state machines, and performance targets for wireless‑charging functionality within infotainment and compute architectures.
- Collaborate with software, UX, validation, mobile, and back‑office engineering groups to ensure seamless integration and a consistent end‑to‑end user experience.
- Lead trade‑off analyses and define verification criteria to meet reliability, safety, and usability goals.
- Support hardware‑software integration, conduct system‑level testing, and drive issue resolution across vehicle platforms.
- Maintain traceability of requirements through design, implementation, and validation phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of system engineering experience in automotive or consumer electronics.
- Proven expertise in wireless‑charging technologies and infotainment system architectures.
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C++ and Python for modeling, simulation, and test automation.
- Experience defining system requirements, interfaces, and performance metrics in cross‑functional projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
