Systems Engineer
Senior Windows Systems Engineer responsible for L2 support, infrastructure design, automation, and performance tuning of Windows Server environments using PowerShell, Active Directory, and VMware technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 troubleshooting and resolution for Windows Server, Active Directory, and related infrastructure issues.
- Design, implement, and maintain virtualized environments using VMware and Hyper‑V.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell to streamline provisioning, patching, and monitoring tasks.
- Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and apply optimizations to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience administering Windows Server (2012‑2022) and Active Directory.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell; experience with automation frameworks.
- Proficiency with VMware vSphere/ESXi virtualization technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
