The Senior Systems Engineer / Solutions Architect will serve as a key technical leader responsible for designing, securing, and supporting complex technology environments for multiple clients. This role combines advanced Microsoft cloud engineering, cybersecurity expertise, automation, and client-facing solution architecture. The ideal candidate will act as the highest level of technical escalation, resolving complex infrastructure challenges while mentoring technical teams. You will design scalable solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, identity management, networking, and endpoint environments. This is a hands-on opportunity for a senior technologist who enjoys solving difficult problems, improving processes, and building innovative automation capabilities. The role offers the chance to influence technical standards, enhance service delivery, and help shape a growing managed services environment.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Systems Engineer / Solutions Architect will provide advanced technical leadership across infrastructure, cloud, security, and automation initiatives. This role will own complex technical escalations, design client solutions, and develop scalable processes that improve operational efficiency and service quality.

• Serve as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex infrastructure, cloud, security, and systems issues.
• Lead root-cause analysis for recurring incidents and high-impact technical challenges.
• Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical teams by sharing expertise, creating documentation, and developing operational best practices.
• Design end-to-end technical architectures across Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, security, networking, and endpoint management environments.
• Collaborate with leadership and client-facing teams to scope technical solutions, contribute to proposals, define project requirements, and estimate implementation efforts.
• Lead technical onboarding, migrations, and transformation initiatives for new and existing client environments.
• Establish architecture standards, reference designs, and technical frameworks that enable consistent service delivery.
• Architect and manage Microsoft cloud environments, including Entra ID/Azure AD, Conditional Access, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain security controls including identity protection, MFA, endpoint security, data protection, and governance practices.
• Support compliance initiatives aligned with frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and HITRUST.
