Systems Engineer
Lead sensor integration and selection for autonomous vehicles, driving performance and safety through advanced sensor fusion, machine learning, and ROS-based systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate, and integrate sensor suites (LiDAR, radar, cameras) into autonomous vehicle platforms.
- Develop and maintain ROS-based sensor fusion pipelines to deliver high-fidelity perception data.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and validation teams to define sensor requirements and performance metrics.
- Implement machine learning models for object detection, tracking, and environment understanding.
- Conduct field testing, data collection, and post‑processing to refine sensor configurations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering for autonomous or robotics applications.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS.
- Strong background in sensor fusion, computer vision, and machine learning.
- Experience with LiDAR, radar, and camera calibration and validation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
